Membership
Regular (voting) membership of the ISSDP is open to all scholars,
analysts or researchers in the field of drug policy research.
Other interested persons may become affiliate (non-voting)
members of the Society.
The membership application form can be downloaded here.
The completed form should be sent to enquiries@issdp.org.
It will be considered by the ISSDP Coordinating Committee.
We aim to respond to applications within a month.
In order to reduce transaction costs, we encourage members
who do not have a UK bank account to pay dues by PayPal. Membership
dues can be paid online by PayPal here. This feature is
for people who are have already been accepted as members by
the Coordinating Committee (including those who joined the
ISSDP in Oslo).
Please note: all those who attended the opening meeting
of the ISSDP in Oslo, March 2007, are already considered to
be members of the ISSDP.
Continued membership is dependent on the payment of dues.
The annual dues for both regular and affiliate members are
currently:
- €50 (if paid by the individual)
- €100 (if paid by their employer or other institution)
- €25 (for registered, full-time students - please
provide proof of registration)
The year for membership dues runs from April to March each
year.
All members will receive a discount on the cost of registration
to the annual conference. Regular members will have the right
to vote and to stand for office in elections of the Society.
