Fourth Annual Conference of the International Society for
the Study of Drug Policy - Santa Monica, California, 15-16
March 2010
This conference will be co-hosted by RAND Drug Policy Research
Center and UCLA's Integrated Substance Abuse Program. For

The plenary speakers will be:

for AIDS/STD Control and Prevention, Chinese Center for
Disease Control and Prevention
Immediately after the conference on 17th March, there will
be an ISSDP workshop on sociological and anthropological
contributions to drug policy studies, under the title Drugs,
Culture and Society.
On the afternoon of 17th March, there will also be a workshop
on Developments
in Longitudinal Modeling of Drug Use and Associated Outcomes.
Third Annual Conference of the International Society for
the Study of Drug Policy - Vienna, 2-3 March 2009
This conference took place on March 2-3 2009 in at the offices
of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime in Vienna,
Austrial. The papers and presentations from ISSDP's Third

Second Annual Conference of the International Society for
the Study of Drug Policy
This conference took place on April 3-4 2008 in Lisbon,
Portugal. It was supported by the European Monitoring Centre
for Drugs and Drug Addiction (EMCDDA) and the Instituto da
Droga e da Toxicodependência (IDT).
The publicly available papers and presentations from ISSDP's
Second Annual Conference are available here.
Some presenters at the Lisbon conference have not given
permission for their papers to be freely available. However,
ISSDP members and Lisbon conference participants can view
them here.

First Annual Conference of the International Society for
the Study of Drug Policy
The first annual conference and meeting of the newly formed
International Society for the Study of Drug Policy (ISSDP)
was held in Oslo, March 22-23, 2007. The event was supported
by the Nordic Council for Alcohol and Drug Research (NAD)
with the Norwegian Institute for Alcohol and Drug Research
(SIRUS) as local host.
